Abstract: THE REAL THING Description: If you're finding Joburg stressful, head out to Soweto's famous suburb to relax. You can't come to South Africa and not visit a township, so why not visit Orlando West and see how the other side lives. Take a bicycle tour, play soccer, take a walk to a restaurant or to our pubs which we call shebeens. You can join us at church, community projects and soccer matches. We love our tunes, so we'll take you to concerts and clubs and will teach you to dance the Kwasa-Kwasa and to play drums. We'll also teach you the local lingo called Tsotsi Taal.
We're proud to be one of the few black-owned backpackers and one of the few backpackers in a black community in South Africa. What we offer:
