Horse ‘n Home is a registered non profit organization, situated in KZN, that rescued horses from starvation and human abuse. All the horses are healthy and are used for lessons, outrides / trail riding, party ponies, pony day camps and mounted games. We also manufacture and sell horsey jewelery in order to raise funds for the upkeep of our equines. Please support our worthy cause! Novice to Advance riders, we can provide horses to suit every rider proficiency level.
Lessons in the 22m diameter lunge ring or our huge arena - Beginners to Intermediate.
Day camps - Drop off your child and leave in our care for the day where they will enjoy farm life surrounded by horses in order to learn more about horses and the associated day to day activities
What to wear when you visit horse 'n home If you plan to do some horse riding, long pants and sturdy shoes or boots, preferably with a heel (school shoes are ideal) are encouraged. Hard hats will be provided.
Directions:
From Pietermaritzburg to Durban.
Travel on the N3 and take the CATO RIDGE off-ramp. Go towards Cato Ridge. Pass the SPAR on your left. Turn Right at the next gravel road (Rainbow). The gravel road will take you over the N3. At the T-junction, turn right. Keep on this road for about 2km. Pass Tall Trees on your right and Assagay Coffee on your Left. We are at the end on your right.
From Durban to Pietermaritzburg.
Travel on the N3 and take the Inchanga/ Hammersdale off-ramp. Turn Right over the N3 and travel on the R103 towards Cato Ridge. Pass Inchanga Country Village on your Left. The next road (Harrison) turn Left. Pass Gromor, go over the railway line and over the N3. Keep on this gravel road for about 2km. Pass Tall Trees on your right and Assagay Coffee on your Left. We are at the end on your right.
