The original Bomvu Paradise is named after the local Bomvana tribe, known as the 'red blanket' people. The Bomvanas are your hosts and entertainers, providing a magical African experience through Xhosa drum and dance. Friday night is a unique opportunity to meet the local community and the well-known drum band 'Bomvu Tribal Rhythms'. SA's only drum making school is here, with free drum playing workshops 3 times a week.
Activities on offer include exclusive island excursions (which is a must), fishing expeditions, awesome hikes to Hole in the Wall, village tours, Sangoma visits and horse riding. Spoil yourself with Yoga and massage in our tranquil milkwood studio. Our well-organised surf school guarantees warm water, good waves and no crowds. The only Billabong surf shop on the Wild Coast is here too.
