Bok Bus has been in operation since 1999 & offers
affordable Garden Route Tours from Cape Town. This 5 day, 4 night all
inclusive adventure tour is perfect for backpackers, professionals and
those young at heart who wish to see and explore the best the Garden
Route has to offer!

HIGHLIGHTS:

· Hiking 3 km underground through the awesome Cango Caves.

ITINERARY:
day 1:- CAPE TOWN TO MOSSEL BAY
Depart from Cape Town and drive along the N2 through Swellendam and on
to Mossel Bay where in your own time you can visit the Diaz Museum, the
Post Office Tree and other attractions of Mossel Bay. Late afternoon
drive back towards Albertinia on the way to a sunset Big 5 game drive
at the Garden Route Game Lodge. Dinner and hot springs under the stars
before overnighting at Park House Backpackpackers in Mossel Bay.
day 2:- MOSSEL BAY TO WILDERNESS
· Visit the world renowned - Cango Caves.
· Visit the Cango Ostrich Ranch - Ostrich riding.
· Visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch - Crocodile and Cheetah breeding center.
Depart from Mossel Bay and drive over the spectacular Robinson Pass on
the way to Oudtshoorn. Spend the day at the Cango Caves, ride ostriches
at the Cango Ostrich Farm and view cheetahs and many other cats at the
Wildlife Ranch. Overnight in Wilderness at Fairy Knowe Backpackers
situated in a forest of old milkwood trees.
day 3:- WILDERNESS TO PLETTENBERG BAY
· Canoe on the Wilderness Lagoon spotting over 200 different species of birds.
· World's Highest Bungy Jump at Bloukrantz 216m. (optional extra)
· Sunset Champagne Cruise.
On departure you'll have the choice of either canoeing on the
Wilderness lagoon or catching the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe steam train from
George to Knysna. Try to spot the 200 differenct species of birds on
the lagoon or enjoy the scenic splendour en route from the window of
the train. Visit the world's highest bungy at Bloukrantz (plenty of
time to jump for those thrill seekeres) and walk the hanging bridge
over the Storms River mouth in the Tsitsikamma National Park. Overnight
at the Didge Backpackers in Storms River Village.
day 4:- PLETTENBERG BAY TO SWELLENDAM
· Explore the Knysna markets and surrounds.
· Visit an Aloe Factory outside Albertinia.
· Longest foefie-slide in Africa. (Ask a South African)
Today you have the option of an ocean adventure by spotting dolphins
and whales (in season) from a boat in Plettenberg Bay. After the boat
cruise we head to Knysna for lunch and to explore the Knysna heads. En
route to Swellendam we visit an aloe factory in Albertinia before
arriving at the Buffeljagts Dam where we will stay on a private guest
farm.
day 5:- SWELLENDAM TO CAPE TOWN
· Shark Cage Diving at Gans Bay (optional extra).
· Wine Tasting.
· Whale watching, in season.
· Visit the Jackass Penguin Colony at Betty's Bay.
Depart Swellendam and follow the coastal route towards Hermanus. There
is time for an optional extra of shark cage diving if any one so
wishes. We explore Hermanus, including whale watching (in season) and
visit a winery for some wine tasting. From Hermanus to Betty's Bay
where we visit the penguins at Stony Point. Return to Cape Town late
afternoon via the stunning False Bay coastline where hopefully we'll
see more whales or dolphins.
